If you're smart enough to consider Kettering, this process will be a no-brainer. Just don't skip any steps, and you're golden.
First of all, here's an idea of what you probably should have studied BEFORE you consider applying to Kettering:
Required Coursework*
2 years of Algebra
1 year of Geometry
1 semester of Trigonometry
2 years of Lab Science (one must be Physics or Chemistry, both recommended)
3 years of English
Calculus or Pre-Calculus recommended (if available)
AP and IB coursework is also accepted

Your Application: Paper or Pixels?
If you've checked out our challenging Undergraduate Programs, researched our professional co-op program, and explored what being at Kettering is all about and still feel that you and your brain would fit in at Kettering, you should start your application. It's easy (and often free) to do it online but a paper application is also available. If you prefer to apply via the paper form, simply give us a call!

As soon as we receive all of your required application materials we'll let you know if you've been accepted. While we accept and process applications throughout the year, your best bet is to apply as early as possible.
Ahh, Acceptance!
If you are accepted at Kettering, you will receive information on our professional co-op program. You will need to complete your co-op registration and pay a $300 tuition deposit (to be credited to your first semester tuition). Your deposit shows that you are as serious about Kettering as Kettering is about you and ensures your place in the entering class.
